Mercedes-AMG unveils limited edition A 45 S 4MATIC+
Mercedes-AMG introduces the A 45 S 4MATIC+ "Limited Edition," a unique model rich in premium exterior and interior features, now available for ordering. This edition is distinguished by its distinctive "AMG green hell magno" paint, a colour previously unavailable in the compact class, with an additional equipment price of approximately ZAR 249,900. Its market debut is scheduled for April 2024, and the offer will remain available until the end of 2024.
The "Limited Edition" features striking "AMG green hell magno" exterior paint, adorned with AMG logos and "A 45 S" lettering on the doors, along with an AMG crest on the bonnet. It rides on 19-inch matt black AMG forged wheels with a seven-twin-spoke design and yellow highlights on the rim spokes, exclusive to this edition. The callipers of the AMG high-performance brake system are painted in glossy black with white AMG logos, enhanced by a unique fuel cap and a light projector that casts the AMG coat of arms.
Three equipment packages further elevate the appearance and performance. The AMG Night Package adds a striking look with black and high-gloss design elements, including the front splitter, exterior mirror housings, and beltlines, complemented by dark-tinted windows from the B-pillar. The AMG Night Package II features additional flair, darkened radiator trim struts, black chrome typography, edition-exclusive door handles, and Mercedes stars in the wheel hub caps. The AMG Aerodynamics Package, developed in the wind tunnel, includes unique add-ons and a fixed rear wing to increase downforce and enhance driving dynamics at high speeds.
The "Limited Edition" interior boasts AMG performance seats in black ARTICO artificial leather and MICROCUT microfibre, highlighted by yellow decorative stitching and "45 S" embroidered emblems. The AMG performance steering wheel and aluminium trim elements are accented with yellow stitching and lettering, matching the detailed AMG door sills and floor mats.
Powered by a 310 kW (421 hp) AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo engine, the A 45 S 4MATIC+ accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and has a top speed limited to 270 km/h. Its dynamic driving experience is further enhanced by the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and AMG TORQUE CONTROL, which distribute power between the front and rear axles and across the rear wheels.
