The Citroën C3 facelift is here to play

Citroen may have had a short comeback in 2019, but this does not mean that there is no room for another. The French automakers have announced that a new facelifted Citroën C3 has braced our local market. The latest Citroën C3 will get advanced upgrades in noise-cancelling which is further complemented by the vehicle's Advanced Comfort seats.

The Citroën C3 will certainly get the French flair as its grille design gets highlighted by distinctive chrome chevrons. The C3 will also feature new scratch-proof bump designs with silver inserts. Under the hood, the C3 gets a 1.2 PureTech engine that produces 60kW of power. To ensure clear confidence on the road, the C3 will get equipped with a comfortable leather, flat-bottomed steering wheel. If you after something with a bit more power, then the C3 Shine will certainly grab your attention and it gets a more powerful 81kW and gets paired further with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

It's clear that the C3 has come to play and will come equipped with advanced features such as Auto Wipers, Rear Park Sensors, 16-inch alloy wheels, and bi-tone exterior colour options. Inside, the driver will be greeted by a highly stylish 7-inch Touchscreen that offers both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. To further exemplify how to advance the C3 is, it will also further come equipped with Auto Dim Rear-view Mirrors.

In addition to its safety features such as ABS, EBD, EBA, TCS, and ESP, the C3 will also come with aspects such as a Driver Attention Warning and Coffee Break Alert which warns the driver to take a break after two hours of non-stop driving. Other cutting-edge technologies on the C3 include Speed Limit Recognition and Recommendation, which reads the speed limit signs for you and will communicate them to the driver via a driver’s display.

The Citroën C3 Feel is currently available in South Africa, with the Shine derivative to be later launched in May 2021.
