PEUGEOT E-3008: European Car of the Year 2024 Finalist
On November 27, 2023, the European Car of the Year (COTY) jury of 59 members representing 22 countries selected the new PEUGEOT E-3008 as one of the final seven contenders for the top prize from a shortlist of 28 models. This marks the 7th time in the last decade that a PEUGEOT model has reached the finals.
PEUGEOT has elevated the 3008 to new heights in terms of design, driving enjoyment, and exceptional electric performance, resulting in the creation of the E-3008:
- It boasts the allure of a fastback SUV with a redesigned and efficient design.
- The new Panoramic i-Cockpit® enhances the emotional aspect of driving pleasure.
- It achieves excellence by combining performance and an impressive all-electric range of up to 700 km, thanks to Stellantis' new STLA-Medium platform.
The European Car of the Year award has no categories or subdivisions, with only one winner. The announcement of the 2024 winner will take place on February 26th in Geneva, Switzerland.
With the E-3008, PEUGEOT has been a finalist for the European Car of the Year award seven times since 2013. Previous finalists include the 408 in 2022, the 308 in 2021, the 208 in 2019 (winner in 2020), the 508 (Hatchback and SW) in 2018, the 3008 in 2016 (winner in 2017), and the previous generation 308 (Hatchback and SW) in 2013 (winner in 2014).

The new PEUGEOT E-3008, the Next-Level Electric Fastback SUV, has been enhanced through Stellantis' innovative STLA-Medium platform, debuting with this model. This platform excels in critical customer criteria such as range (up to 700 km), fast recharge time (100 km in 10 minutes), driving enjoyment, performance, design efficiency (less than 14 kWh / 100 km), and connected services (including Trip Planner, Smart charging, remote functions, and 'Over-The-Air' updates).
The PEUGEOT Panoramic i-Cockpit® elevates the driving experience with a stunning 21" curved floating HD screen that combines the head-up display and central touchscreen.
Production of the new PEUGEOT E-3008 will exclusively take place at the Sochaux plant in France. It is already available for orders in numerous European countries and will go on sale in early 2024.
By 2025, PEUGEOT aims to become a leader in electric vehicles (EVs) in Europe, with the PEUGEOT E-3008 playing a central role in their EV brand strategy, featuring nine passenger cars and three LCVs, making it one of the most comprehensive and efficient line-ups among mainstream brands.
