Lamborghini has a new home in South Africa.
After being originally distributed locally by Imperial Holdings, the German-owned Italian supercar maker will now be managed in South Africa by LSM Distributors - the same company responsible for importation and management of Bentley and Porsche. This makes sense as all three are owned by the Volkswagen Group.
"We believe that Lamborghini will complement the existing vehicle brands already represented by LSM Distributors," says Toby Venter, CEO of LSM Distributors.
Lamborghini will be sold from three dealerships in South Africa - Melrose Arch in Johannesburg, Century City in Cape Town, and Umhlanga just outside Durban. LSM has also released pricing for the entire local Lamborghini line-up, including the upcoming Urus super-SUV.
Pricing is as follows:
Urus - 4.0 TT V8 - 478kw/850nm - R3 495 000 (arriving late 2018)
